Who participates in Jersey Club Sports leagues and events?

Active professionals who are looking to meet new people and have a great time while playing their favorite sports. You must be 21 or older and have medical insurance.  We do not provide medical insurance.



If you register for a team as a Captain, you must have enough players to fill your team.  It is not our responsibility to place "Indy" players on your team.  Do not register a team until you have enough players committed.


What if I don’t have enough people for a whole team?
It is not uncommon that an entire team be registered at one time. But if that is not possible, the remainder of the roster will be filled with others who also could not fill the roster. It is completely acceptable to sign up an entire team, or as an individual.



What is an individual sign-up?

We now call them Indy sign-ups not Free agents. Basically it means that you don’t have a team to play with, but still want to play a sport. You sign up by yourself and we do our best to place you on what we call "Indy teams" with other people that have signed up singly or in small groups or an established team that needs an extra player or two!  


After I sign up as an "indy" what happens next?

You'll be contacted shortly via email before the league starts with details about your team.  If you can not be placed on a team we will refund you in full at this point or offer a credit. To better increase your chances of being placed, sign up sooner rather than later.


How long in the season?

Most of our leagues consist of a six or seven games with a playoff game for top teams.


How long do we play for?
Most of our leagues run for 50 mins-one hour. Softball games are 75 mins.  Your game times will rotate each week throughout the season.


What happens in the case of inclement weather?

Weather Policy: We can not control the weather! We HATE canceling games!!! Jersey Club Sports reserves the right to shorten a season due to excessive rain-outs. We will try to make up each game to the best of our ability. We will try to extend the season to make-up games or will reschedule games on another day.


Thirty-minute rule  Once lightning has been recognized, we must wait at least 30 minutes after the last flash of lightning is witnessed or thunder is heard.  Any subsequent lightning or thunder after the beginning of the 30-minute count should reset the clock and another count should begin.  Everyone must seek shelter in their cars.


What happens if games need to be rescheduled?
Jersey Club Sports reserves the right to reschedule games to alternative locations on different days or possibly extend the season to accommodate rescheduled games.  If we experience as excessive amount of cancellations we will need to cut the season short.


What if I don’t register and pay by the deadline?

If payment is not received on time, your spot on the team may be given up. Late registration is allowed, but an additional fee will be added to the original registration fee. You will then be added to a team as soon as possible. Rosters will be finalized within the first two weeks of the league’s season.


No refunds!  We will issue a credit which will be valid for 1 year from date.

Registration fee is non-transferable. You can not transfer your league fee to another member unless approved by Jersey Club Sports.
There is no refund for unused services.  We reserve the right to delay the start of a league.  Delayed season starts do not warrent a refund.

INJURY: All injuries must be reported after the incident to the Referee and/or Field Manager. You will receive a pro-rated credit for the remaining games you miss.  Credits will not be issued if you do not report your injury.  No exceptions!


SUB POLICY- Click on the “Register A Sub” button on the home page.  (Non-roster subs are only allowed when your team is short a player that is on the roster)


•Substitute players are permitted to participate in one game by registering by 5pm on the day of the game.
• To register as a one-time sub, "Register as a Sub", and pay the $10 game fee at the field.
• Subs are required to check-in with a Game Referee and Site Manager prior to playing.
• Teams using subs cannot exceed the number of players on their original roster.  A female should sub for a female and a male should sub for a male.

• Players may not sub more than 3 games (depends on league: soccer and flag football- 2 games) per season. Each time will require a separate $10 game fee which will be paid at the field.  (you must register as a sub each game you play)
• Subs are prohibited from playoff games. unless they have played 3 games and the team is short a roster player due to a reported injury.   


If a league is canceled, then a full refund will be given, but we will do our very best to place you into a different league. If league play starts though, no refunds will be given.


Jersey Club Sports reserves the right to exclude intoxicated or disorderly persons from any portion of an activity without refund of money.  Unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated.


You are responsible to judge your own ability to participate based on your own physical capabilities and endurance, the weather, conditions, and anything else pertaining to the activity. Jersey Club Sports is not responsible for any injury, loss or damage to person or property, resulting from participation in, parking at, or traveling to and from activities.


All members must have their own medical insurance.


Forfeit Policy:

All forfeits must be made by 12pm the day of the game for weeknight leagues and 12pm the day before the game for weekend leagues. If a team forfeits after that time there will be a $25 fee that must be paid to the opponent. The $25 fee will be given to the opponent as a $25 gift card to the Famished Frog. The $25 fee must be paid the following week after your forfeit. 

Please email us if your team needs non-roster subs to help prevent a forfeit. If your team needs to forfeit please let us know as early as possible so we can let the other team know or find them a new opponent.

Our team has an injured player, can we replace him/her?
Injured players (must have been injured in league) may be permanently replaced at no charge prior to the 5th week of the season under the following regulations:

  • The captain and/or injured player must notify the league immediately.
  • The replacement player must be added to the roster by JCS and accept the online waiver before being eligible to play.
  • The replacement player is a PERMANENT replacement. The injured player may not return until the following season.
  • Any payment issues and money exchange must be determined between the injured player and the replacement player.
  • The injured player must give their JCS team shirt to the replacement player to wear during games. If the shirt doesn't fit, the replacement player may purchase a new shirt (if available) for $10.
